Como pudieron darse cuenta Fashion Week Panamá acaba de empezar y eso significa que las personas van a sacar sus mejores galas para asistir a los desfiles. Este año estoy tratando de enfocarme más que nada en estar cómodo más que taquillar.
Para el primer día decidí vestir un conjunto vintage de tres piezas (que eventualmente se redujo a dos) de Halston que encontré en Volver en La Plural de color almendra, como éste se asemejaba mucho a mi color de piel lo contrasté con un blusón vintage con “pussy bow” color rojo de Gucci que encontré en Squaresville en Los Ángeles – L.A. se ha convertido en mi ciudad número uno para comprar vintage desde mi última visita.
Típico de mí, me he obsesionado en usar solo un par de zapatillas por lo que va del año así que me fui con unas Chuck Taylors blancas high-top de Converse porque simplemente no puedo parar de usarlas, con todo y que están en mi armario desde hace años, pero así es la vida, cosas van y cosas vuelven.
Las fotos fueron medio impromptu en el estudio de escenografía del canal de televisión en el que trabajo pero igualmente a mi me encantan los lugares inusuales y este me encantó. ¿Qué te pareció mi outfit?
Like you may have noticed from my last blog post, Fashion Week Panama is full throttle and that only means cute and great outfits everywhere. Some people play it like their life (or maybe just their Instafollow) depends on it but this year I’m gonna try to hit the “comfy” jackpot because nothing beats being at ease while looking fresh as a lettuce.
So I went with a vintage hazelnut three-piece suit (that eventually reduced to two pieces) by Halston which I bought at Volver, one of my favorite pre-loved boutiques in Panama right now. Since this hazelnut resembled my skin tone a bit I went for a red vintage Gucci blouse with a huge pussy-bow that I recently bought during a trip to L.A. (if you are planning on going please go to Squaresville for amazing vintage findings).
Typical me, I’ve obsessed over a pair of shoes for the most part of the year: a pair of white high-top Chuck Taylors. I simply CA-NNOT stop wearing’em even though they’ve been in my closet for ages…
The photos were taken impromptu at the set design studio of the TV network I work at, the place may seem like an odd choice for photos but I’m really into unusual/hazy/tore down locations so it was perfect for me. What do you think about my first Fashion Week look?
