Here's Margot Robbie's First CHANEL Campaign

Tan solo a unas semanas de haber sido anunciada como la nueva embajadora de la maison francesa, llega el turno de Margot Robbie para protagonizar su primera campaña bajo el lente de Karl Lagerfeld.

Es por eso que bajo el ímpetu del Kaiser CHANEL presenta su primera colección Coco Neige, una continuación lógica del amor de Gabrielle Chanel por los exteriores. Coco Neige es una colección que combina perfectamente los códigos clásicos de la marca: masculino/femenino, tweed, cuero y quilt o edredón. En esta ocasión el satín, la lana, el terciopelo y denim también son pareadas con materiales resistentes al agua y viento, con costuras selladas al calor y reforzadas para acompañar siempre en las terrazas de los Alpes.

“La sesión de fotos ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi carrera. La energía y vibra en el set era maravillosa e invitaba mucho a la colaboración”, declaró Margot en el comunicado de prensa, “una de las primeras cosas que me dijo Karl fue a nunca tomarme tan en serio. Tiene una mente tan creativa y sabe exactamente lo que quiere minuto a minuto”.

That’s why under the impetus of Karl Lagerfeld, CHANEL presents the first ever Coco Neige collection. A logical continuation of both Gabrielle Chanel’s love of the open air. The collection revisits the mountains by combining it with the codes of CHANEL: masculine/feminine inspiration, tweed and leather and quilting work set the tone for this line with its slender and sporty silhouettes. Satin, wool, fringed tweed, velvet, denim and leather are paired with waterproof and windproof materials, with heat-sealed seams and reinforced protection to take full advantage of the slopes and the après-ski terraces.

“This shoot was one of the greatest experiences of my career. The energy and vibe on set was so wonderful and collaborative,” Robbie said in the press release, “one of the first things Karl Lagerfeld said to me was that we never need to take ourselves too seriously. He has such a creative mind and he knows exactly what he wants and the minute he captured it.”

Each item is made for skiing and boarding, allowing for maximum comfort and a great freedom of movement. The high collars of the parkas and the down jackets protect from the wind, the trousers and salopettes fit the legs beautifully, flaring out to cover ski-boots, while the jackets perfectly cover the lower back.
